Okay, I'm in!! Filled out the form twice, one for each of my broodies, SLW on Icelandic eggs and a Muscovy on her own eggs (and a few from her Momma). The Muscovy may not make the deadline, she wasn't consistantly on the nest until May 3/4. I may be adding another broody, we'll see if she's serious first. I won't have anything hatching in the incubator until after the cutoff, setting some shipped eggs, my first attempt at them, +/- May 19. I ordered and got a "Western Caliber III Digital Humidity Temperature Gauge" as per recommended on the Easter Hatch thread. Can't wait to put it to use!! It was 93 degrees here yesterday, we had frost last Thursday. Weird weather......I wonder what the DH will say when I move the incubator from the garage to the house.....

I don't really care. Ask your contest mod for their contest rules.
For the contest I am running, I don't really care if the picture has been posted before, it just has to be a bird you own or did own.
A bird we did own? Does that mean the frizzled naked-neck thing that I sold as a chick, who subsequently turned out to be a frazzle and is mostly naked except for the wings, would be eligible?
Upcoming hatches are:
3 guinea eggs due today-ish (I figure 25 days since that's when they usually hatch but they are supposed to take 28)
2 mixed goose eggs due 5-15
1 chicken egg due 5-16
2 Lotsapaint Bourbon Red turkey eggs due 5-17
12 of my ducks' eggs due 5-17
12 ringneck X melanistic pheasant eggs from JJMR794 due 5-18
10 of my coturnix quail eggs due 5-19
18 chicken eggs due 5-19
1 guinea egg due 5-20
2 toulouse goose eggs due 5-21
5 welsh harlequin duck eggs due 5-21
20 chicken eggs due 5-22

Then there is a 3-day lull and it starts over again
My pipping baby as of 5 minutes ago. I am just hovering over the bator. My husband just headed into town and asked if I wanted him to swing by on his way to Walmart. I said, I don't want to leave during a hatch, what if one of the babies needs me? He started to say, Jamie you know....... Then he thought, I'd better keep my mouth shut.
Hi everyone...been following this thread but havn't joined cuz I've been so busy building my awesome new incubator. ITs finally ready!! I have 35 set on may 3rd, 13 on the 6th and 7 on the 8th. I crammed them in my LG, but plan on moving the ones set on the 6th and 8th to my new incubator. But I'm having serious issues with my LG. I wonder if this is what hurt my last hatch and I didn't know it. My digitial one was several degrees off from my regular so I assumed it was my digital but 2 days ago I started having extreme hot and cold spots in my LG. Heres the post. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=502421 I'm praying that my hatch isn't ruined. Any advice please!!! I may have to move them to my new bator. I'd just hate to move them all to an untested bator.
