well im trying to break up 2 broodys that are in my avatar picture. i blocked there nest so they made a new spot as close to the old one.
today i moved them to a new pen. boy were they mad at me. good thing they are bantams. they screamed like i was killing them when i picked them up. fluffed all there feathers like a frizzle chicken and gave me the o'le stink eye. and disrupted the whole barn with there cackling.

wow.

not sure how you get them to not be broody. if this doesnt work i guess i will give them a couple of eggs and see what happens.

any thoughts?

Fortunately I only have one broody "Betty" She sounds like a velociraptor when you get near her, but she hasn't pecked me yet.

gave up breaking my broody hens. the change in pen didnt work. gave them 4 eggs.
