So, I've not had to deal with any crop issues since owning chickens, but I figured my time was coming. I got three English Chocolate Orpingtons yesterday and the cockerel has a large, boggy crop. I saw it last night, when I got them about 730ish and this morning when I let them out, it is unchanged. It feels like a balloon and does not seem to hurt him. I opened his beak and nothing foul is coming out. He is eating and doing chickeny things. Any suggestions? I've read putting apple cider vinegar? I currently have probiotics/vitamins in their water.
