I'm having an issue with one of my hens (13 weeks), and I'm hoping for clarification on what to do. Timeline of events:

Thursday - notice crop was a bit large.
Friday - sick hen pose, crop even larger by evening, drained crop
Saturday - drained crop morning and night, kept from food but given access to water midday, gave a bit of yogurt with probiotics
Sunday - crop was feeling good in the morning, but I still drained it to see if more would come out, and more did. Gave some yogurt and a bit of scrambled eggs with probiotics, poly-vi-sol, oyster shells. It was a small meal, but something more substantial than she had been having. Added ACV to water.
Monday - crop feels full of water in the morning, gave scrambled eggs with more probitics because I don't feel comfortable not giving her some sort of food for that long.

How long will this go on before I trust that she can be back to normal?

It doesn't smell yeast-y though. Tonight it was hard :( I couldn't get anything to come out. Despite that, she's acting more normal than she was a couple days ago...no puffy stance, no tucked in head. Active, curious, cleaning herself, socializing (I've kept her in the coop and rotate 2 other hens in and out through the day). Drinking fine. Her poops are now coming out as little pellets with mostly water, which I would assume is from eating very little.

I just read the article and wonder if I'm just making it worse preventing her from eating regularly...everything I kept reading said to keep her food limited....and the stupid chicken health handbook is not helpful at all. I hate that all this chicken stuff is about learning what to do after you messed it up the first time.

Okay...so it was empty this morning and I tried to let her go be a chicken. She still is happy, but now her crop is HUGE and is getting harder (like wet sand in a balloon). I've officially caged her in the garage. I tried to empty it and nothing will budge. I'm getting monistat when I get back from work tonight. Is my chicken going to live through this?

Normal? It's better than last night but her crop is still huge from earlier and she's making sick chicke pose again and I can't get her crop to empty for anything.
