I have australorp hens and they are almost 7 months old and have been laying for about 1.5-2 months. I knew that their eggs would get larger over time, but yesterday I gathered two HUGE eggs from the boxes, they were twice the size of the others. Should I worry about them getting stuck or anything??
I have been getting on average 10-11 eggs per day from 13 hens so I think everyone is laying regularly. I picked everyone up and felt for eggs yesterday and everybody felt normal.
Have you guys experience this. I did take pics but I do not have my camera with me. They were about the size of jumbo eggs from the market.
