Large Fowl only crazy egg chain

Iowa Blues are a great free range bird. There are stories of the roosters fighting off a hawk to protect his flock. My rooster is very well behaved.
Roosters should weigh 7 lbs with hens weighing 6 lbs. The have a birchen color pattern. There is some mossines that a group of us are trying to breed out of the birds. Hens lay a large tinted/brown egg. They will go broody but not constantly like some breeds. They make good moms.

My rooster comes to within 5 feet of me to see what I am doing and if I'm bringing treats. The hens are more stand offish but they are getting better now. They are supposed to be a good dual purpose breed. I think I read the hens lay 200-220 eggs a year. If somebody wanted guineas I've sent 7 eggs a few times and all were still good.

I don't know if it'll help but I just thought I'd post some more pics of my Iowa Blues.

This is a picture of my rooster with his tail grown back in. It was taken with my phone so its not the best quality.
