large fowl silkies???

Purely poultry sells Chinese meat silkies. They get up to 5 pounds in 12 weeks. Plus, if you're running a hatchery, for example, you'd need to be a well educated person whom specializes in poultry of all types. Hatcheries will often teach those who know little when they join the business.

Are these Meat Silkies pure Silkies or crosses?

Most likely pure, cuz they're from China. The Chinese rarely cross breed their silkies with any other chickens. Chinese silkies have two original colors, white, and of course black. White is more common.

Hatchery employees actually know very little about all the breeds of chickens or poultry at all.
Its a job. They work in a hatchery not breed birds. And what's written in their info is by people in marketing which know even less about poultry.

Also purely poultry's broiler silkies are cross breeds.
Its says in black and white that they do not even have silkied feathers. Also that they get to 3lbs at 12 weeks and takes 4 to 6 months for roosters to reach 5lbs.

I agree good Orpington have a lot of fluff.
But doesn't matter if its fluff or not when you're using them in a pic for size reference.
Here was a couple of my orpingtons. They're quite fluffy looking but stand either next to you silkie or Orpington hen and they wouldn't appear very large.

You want to show use exactly how big he is you need to tell us his correct weight or even stand him next to something we can all relate to like a 5 gallon bucket or 2 liter bottle.
Here's him next to a bucket.

That's not what I read.
I had the weight ages mixed up. It doesn't say they're crosses, I just reread it. They have silkied feathers too.

It is on the web sites page on them. https://www.purelypoultry.com/silkie-broilers-p-1303.html just read the description.

Copied from the page I linked from purely poultry.
-Silkie Broilers will NOT live up the feathering expectations of a silkie
-Silkies broilers are typically raised 4-6 months before processing and will reach 3-5 pounds
-Weight: At 12 weeks, Silkie Broilers will have a live weight around 3 pounds and will process out around 2. If allowed to grow longer, males can reach weights of 5 pounds and females 3 pounds.

Just means they're not as fluffy, or soft.
