The humidity in my rcom 20 incy was about 60%. I knew it was high but figured after a day or two it would go down but it didnt so i took away the water 'thing' and gave it a week and it went down to 55%,still too high. So i started up my homemade incubator, still a working progress but the humidity was 20%, perfect as i was trying to dry hatch with the rcom anyways. But is this too big of a humidity change all of a sudden?

No. It's the only way you'll get the water out of the eggs if they've been at 60% for a week already.
