I'm planning to cover the run with Skytuf clear polycarbonate corrugated roofing to keep the run dry, but not dark.

Would you want solid panels for shade in summer?

The run sits in the shade of a couple live oak trees, so I didn't think I needed the additional shade. Panels are cheap enough to swap out if I change my mind.

Looks great! I used tan panels, so i didn't have to look at the leaves and twigs that fall on my runs cover, it sits under trees also. I wanted to use clear.
If you didn't think of it yet, I would put hardware cloth around the base of the coop, with an apron, to keep critters from nesting under there.
