Very mild indeed. Since it only affected two birds in separate pens, it's actually an extremely mild outbreak. Then again, "outbreak" doesn't seem to fit the narrative... does it?If it was pox, it was a very mild outbreak.

You might want to go wash your hands just in case.

I finally got around to working on the pullet's wattle, and I was pleased to see that it was doing very well. The swelling has gone down tremendously, and I think it was still enlarged simply due to the depth of the scab. I boiled it with peroxide anyway, and removed the scab to see if there was any infection underneath. There was none. She's going to be okay.
