Large tear duct lining covering part of the eye

While chicken sitting for one of my customers, I have noticed one of her chicks has very large tear duct lining that slightly covers part of the iris on both sides. It appears to be prohibiting her vision slightly. She does not run around as much as the others. Has anyone encountered this?

She is a 6 week old Brahma
