So 3 out of my 4 (all different breeds) approx. 4 week old chicks have lumps (almost golfball size) on the right side of their neck. What is that? Is it normal? What do I do?
Please help =/

It's their crop, where food goes before it's processed. Check in the morning before they've had much chance to eat and it should be way down.

Yep! Perfectly normal

Check them in the morning, you'll notice those lumps are gone...but they'll be back in the afternoon/evening time. Good observation though, I owned chickens for many months before noticing the crop area!
