I am about 99% sure my flock has Lash egg. But I have never had before so my knowledge is only what I have read. I found portions of about 2 lash eggs. They are a flock of 12 light brahmas with a rooster. It has been about 3 weeks where they haven't been laying. I get about an egg or 2 every week. And they were laying fine before that. No food change and they have oysters for extra calcium. Is there any home remedies? They are eating and drinking fine, only change is egg laying and the finding of the waxy substance.I called the vet and it will cost 300$ just to get in the door! I appreciate any help.

I do not have any personal experience with lash eggs.

But I found this older thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/found-a-lash-egg-now-what.1076066/
The original poster found a lash egg, was not sure which chicken laid the egg, and updated some months later with the news that all chickens were healthy and laying eggs.

So that's one case where the problem went away on its own.
