No, you don’t need to worry about giving away eggs from your hens if one has salpingitis. They are fine. I would encourage you to read some of the articles that are linked in post 3 about lash eggs. Salpingitis is a common finding in older hens. Many times we won’t even know one has it until after one dies, and we may find lash material inside the abdomen after butchering or doing a necropsy.
