Last 2 eggs haven't hatched, wait longer or give up?

This is my first time incubating. I had pips starting on day 19, most hatched on day 20/21. The last one to hatch was sometime Saturday night after I had gone to bed. We had no activity on the remaining 10 eggs yesterday (I had 23 hatched), so last night I candled using the light on my cell phone. 7 were not fertile eggs, 1 had a chick in it but it was only filling about half the egg so I'm assuming it died somewhere during growth. The last two eggs were almost completely dark. I couldn't really see the air cell no matter which way I turned the egg over my light.

Should I give up on these last two? Should the egg be completely dark inside? I just bought a dozen Narrigansett turkey eggs from an auction and they are now between 8-10 days old (the auctioneer didn't say how old they were), so I really want to hurry up and get them in the 'bator.

I'm very new at incubating too. We just had a hen sitting on eggs and had some eggs in the incubator for a few days as well when the last two of the hens eggs didn't hatch. My daughter begged me not to throw them away so we put them in a large bowl in the bator to keep them away of the other eggs. We didn't follow any rules for how to treat eggs on their last few days. And 4 days later one hatched. It hatched in the bowl and against all rules it was in there with the other eggs which were about a week into incubating. Once it was about half dry we took it out-it was trying to climb out of bowl, and put it with the hen. It is fine!

When the eggs are ready to hatch they will be completely dark except for the air cell, so not sure what to tell you on not seeing that. Hopefully an expert will reply to you too. Good luck!

The latest I've ever had one hatch was at the end of day 24. That's because the temp was way too low during incubation. ( not on purpose!) Keep the eggs warm while you quickly clean the incubator and then put them back in with the turkey eggs. Give them 2 or 3 days and then if you see no difference in air cells, remove them.
