Last Egg

This is my last egg to hatch. The chick seems to be very alert, and has made "some" progress from 7 hours ago. Im not 100% sure whats going on with the red on one side, and the white and the other in the membrane. Any ideas? Not sure when it pipped.

It can take 24hrs to completely hatch ... Not seeing the "red/white" you mentioned but it's possible it broke a "vein" to get to where it's at. As long as it's "active & alert" I would leave it to complete its hatch.

On the right side of the opening, that color is way more red, than black like it looks like in the photo

I wouldn't be concerned, possible a some bleeding from a broken "vein" but doesn't look to be a concern. Check out that link I sent
