Wow! What a night we had here: Shortly after midnight the wind started to howl around the house and the Duckies were scared to death in their duck-house:
In the morning we discovered that the Duck's vacation home has been toppled over:
full

That thing is so heavy that i can't lift it, so i didn't screwed it down to the platform. Big Mistake!
And the ladder i had leaned to the work-platform was blown away and fell into the fence:
full

Amazingly we didn't lost power!
How is everybody else doing? @WVduckchick @Miss Lydia @Duckfarmer1 @FluffTheDuck @DuckyDonna @EverybodyIForgotHereApologies

Came through here shortly after dark and boy it was something else we had no damage but on the news they said trees were coming down all over straight line winds with the rain too.
So you got the first squall line that was not too bad here, except for the rain.
But here was a second line of storms ~3 hours later that came through here like a hammer. It sounded like a freight train, blew through, not much rain and it was all over in less than 10 minutes. Need to go up the hill into my forest and see how many trees have been kicked over…

We had a lot of wind and large hail here. I found two dead wild birds in the yard the next day; I assume from the hail? My own birds are fine. I was pretty freaked out because we were under a tornado warning, and I wasn't sure what to do about all my birds. Do you guys have plans for that kind of extreme weather?
We did not had a tornado warning here yesterday, but in case of any severe event, we would just safe ourselves and don't care about any animals. Sorry duckies! But humon life has priority. - I always write this on those »There is a hurricane coming and i live in the evacuation zone…« threads. When mother nature is angry, just move out of her way. If you can take your animals with you, fine. But don't put your life in danger!!!

We had pretty good rain all day yesterday but that wasnt as bad as the second one that came through. I really expected to find the coop roof torn off or other damage. Everyone was fine but I did have a tree branch fall on the hotwire fence and broke one of the strands. Thankfully that was all the damage here. Further south I heard there was alot more damage. I hope no one was seriously hurt.
