silkie roos looking for a home also

All I have for swap/sale are some really cute little Nankin bantam cockerels. The latest hatch looks like there are three pullet chicks, but I can't tell for sure and they wouldn't be available till next spring anyway. Take a roo now, get a hen next spring! That's my motto.

Hmmm, I don't want someone to just show up on my account. I am a new to poultry owner (since April) when my mom and I went to a chicken swap at a tractor supply to find a duck for her, I think it was Milford. We found a duck for her, actually 3

and somehow I came home with two baby turkeys and a chick (who came free with the turkey's) I wanted something big, it was either turkey's or I wanted geese. Well they grew up and they turned out to be meat birds

I wanted them as pets. I lucked out and had a tom and a hen. Unfortunately my tom died about a month ago, I think his organs failed even though I worked really hard to not let him get too fat. I was very sad. He was awesome. My female is doing really well and I am hoping I have her for a long time, she is very sweet. I still have the chicken too, him I don't like so much, mostly because I have to chase it around to get it back in it's cage where as the turkey goes right in to eat. I'd like to get a tom, but $50 is too much right now. If I can't find anything this time I will just wait until spring. I just thought I would see if anyone would be bringing turkeys. It would be a pet only

Janet here. forgot to log on as me. oops. oh well we share lots of stuff.
cute little wet chick. I hope it turns out to be which ever gender you are looking for!!!
The dates have been changed everywhere possible. The store has multiple flyers up and the owner refers everyone to greg for details.
most of the feedback he has gotten thus far is that people do not want to be outside in the cold and wet.
The swap is wait list only. pm Greg if you would like to be put on it. If someone cancels you will be contacted on a first come first serve basis.
