A few weeks ago, I posted a concern about my then 2 week old, or so, Blue Andulusian chick not developing as fast as the others. Well, she is doing well, but still very much behind the others. She will be 5 weeks on Monday, just like all the others. I posted pics to show how scarce the feathers on her back are. I also have a pic of her next to the other BA pullet that I have, to show how much smaller she is. Not only is she small, but her feathers are taking FOREVER to come in. Her wing feathers have been in for a while, but all the others are barely there. All my other chicks, the other BA, EEs and a White Rock, are all fully feathered and very full looking. I plan on moving everyone outside to their new house this weekend, but I am a little concerned because she does not have all her adult feathers in. I will have a heat lamp on at night for them though, just in case. At this point in the brooder that is in my house, they only have the heat lamp on during the night too. She is just as active as everyone else, eats and drinks great and is not picked on. Any ideas why she is developing so slow?? I realize that Spunky's (the larger BA)comb looks huge compared to Venus'( my little BA), but some of that is the angle. They really aren't too different in size.

Thanks for any advice!

Mites maybe or some slight difference in breeding? Some other stressors?
