Hoping for some help. I always let the hens to the hatching and raising. This time the hens were not consistent with sitting. Results one clutch hatched a week late and are doing fine. The last clutch is over a week late. I did the float test and they float at an angel not up and down. From what I've learned at an angel is good and up and down is bad and means they died. But I'm afraid they dI'd even though the float test is positive. No movement in water and I haven't heard anything.

Yes I'm afraid they didn't make it for whatever reason. My poor hen is still waiting on a hatch. Thinking of getting a chick for her and putting it under her at night, but not sure it would work.

I just checked and they were underdeveloped and died awhile ago
