I have called GQF and they don't seem to have an answer. We bought a cabinet incubator and every hatch we've done with it is late by 1 to 2 days. One even spanned 4 days. I have 2 calibrated thermometer in there at all time and they read 100, I have a digital thermometer/hydrometer and that too read 100. Humidy is at 55% until lockdown the 75% for the last 3 days. I have checked all the shelves in all areas and the temp seems to be stable.

This may be the last batch of eggs prior to getting the auto hunidy kit( 5 gallon bucket and float) prior to that I would have to open the door daily to add water or the tray would go dry.

I had been keeping my eggs in a fridge at 55 degrees. I stopped doing this as a friend who breeds said she had better luck at room temp.

Today is hatch day and so far only my duck eggs have piped. When I candled before lockdown all chicks were dancing inside the egg.

One thing I was told is as I put a tray of eggs in to move it down each week as I put fresh hatching eggs in. One thing that was not answered to my satisfaction is what does the increased humidy do to the eggs that are a week or two away from hatching. Out hatch rates are decent but frequently late.
