Yep, spring is the theme. Preshrink for no surprises after 1st wash and 12.5 (for 12 inch finished) block size. I believe that covers what marty posted. Happy sewing!

That's right. Just make sure the colors are the colors of spring (light olors of the new grass, clear sky and spring flowers.) I hope to start this coming week since I finished the two quilts for my grandsons. Will post pix soon.Is this due on March 1st? If it is I can take her spot. I'm finished with my other swaps already. 25 blocks any color or pattern right?![]()

I really like it. In my garden, there is always a bit of brown left on the bottem of early blooming plants, or at least in their vicinity.does the brown make it too gloomy for a spring theme? This is not quite the finished block, plan was to do border in the same brown floral but i think it will be gloomy. The chickie block I had laid out b4 will take too much time and meticulous sewing for a 25 blocker. With 3 school kids and a hubby (not to mention my animal babes!) I would be really pushing time. I know i'll miss it later in life but by then i'll be quilting away! Opinions on this block please so i don't ruin the bright look of everyone else's beauties.
