9 rir due to hatch saturday and 17 rir due to hatch 3 days later. These were collected for 2 separate orders but the ppl kept wanting to pick up later and later. Eggs would've been almost 2 weeks old and some were already developing so into my bator they went. Got 3 rir in brooder with 6 bought silkies (kids wanted those) already. I gotta make a chicken wall hanging for my office! :)

I guess I picked a good day to check in on the quilt blocks, to find out that they might be in the mail soon!
I'm envious of all the eggs in the incubators, too...... my chickens are just as depressed about the extended winter as I am- only had two eggs all month!

I just can't believe how small bannie chicks are they look like wind up toys, so I'm guessing silkies are small like that too, I have my bannie family and she is sitting on some eggs how many no clue since she decided to take them on the barn inside an over hang and I can't get to her yes I got the 15 foot ladder and climbed on the roof she just looked at me and I'm sure she was laughing and they are due a week after the Easter hatch, so she is going to be one busy mom, I have 20 (if all hatch) for her that should be here on sat. we have gone into lock down!!!!

I don't have a fancy contraption to print my chicken pics onto fabric so I thought about having it done on a t-shirt somewhere like walmart then cutting out the picture for a quilt. It would be a beautiful way to make a greatly personalized quilt for my kids- made of pics of them with the chicks and chickens!

There is a way to use a home printer and some kind of transfer medium to get the ink to go into fabric. I was going to order from Spoonflower but the prints don't look much different than the home technique and don't wash well. For what they charge I want more quality.

Hi,
the blocks were being mailed either monday or tuesday, so it is time to start stalking your mailman.

I have seen two different types of iron on transfer paper that you can use with your home printer, if you have a printer that does picture quality printing then the walmart stuff should look good, I have a special project my DH wants and I will need to use this stuff. But if you find something that is great let us know.

There was a slight delay. I had a cough on Monday afternoon, and was in the hospital Tue-this morning for pneumonia.

Thankfully, I didn't get to the blocks, so they won't have been contaminated with infectious germs. I'm sorting them now, and will ship this afternoon or tomorrow, if I'm not too tired.

Oh, Marty I hope you are on the mend, sorry to hear that, if you need more time take it.

Marty oh no! Take your time I was just wondering. I have a cold or what ever it is, yuck. Like I have time to be sick. Get better and rest.
