I have about 60 lavender and split eggs in the Bator. They are from two separate breeding pens I have setup : Lav rooster over black and split hens, and Lav split rooster over Schaffer Lav hens. I hope to improve on size and feather quality. Some are large and extra fluffy in the rear and the split hens could use some size. Just crossing my fingers that I get a few NICE Lavender girls and at least one nice Lav rooster to replace mine who is a JERK!

I love my projects and my ultimate goal is to improve the lavenders without sacrificing type and quality.
 
I have a few LF lav from April hatches.I noticed 2 split cockerels from my Smith split hen.I have high hopes for her chicks.Time will tell.
 
Got the first egg today from crystalcreek's lavender hen today... at least the first since she has been in TN and not in the shipping box!
