Lavender Orpington chick hatched YELLOW?

My lavendar orpington chick hatched yellow also. It is full grown and mottled, so I think that it is just a mix, not a purebred.

Interesting. I know mine is pure Orpington..both parents are positively Lavender Orpingtons..so that's why it's so strange.
Was yours produced by both Lavender Orp parents?

Mine was produced from both Lavender Orps so it may have been just a dud, which can occur with all chicken breeds.

Pretty sure I know which hen is producing it, because the younger roo is not breeding any of the hens yet.
What shall I do with her?
