What a cutie! It’s begun!!! So excited for you lol

About an hour ago we had this little one hatch, phone died before I could give the update.

Got the first runner fluffed up and brought down to the brooder.

Working on adjusting the heat lamp atm since it’s going to get down to 50 tonight, just adjusting it and seeing how they react and what not. As for the last 4 left to hatch, 2 were the malpositioned ones I had to help so keeping an eye on them. Of those 1 looks like it’s about ready to zip and the other is probably going to be the last to hatch. The 2 I only made a safety hole for are both looking like they are getting ready to zip.

Slothic we are excited to see how they all look in the end, for our first batch I had like 8 blues that were hard to tell apart so they ended up being called the gray gals these guys look a lot more varied thanks to spot being a Swedish runner throwing in his non-metzer chaos genes so we can finally stop being horrible people and name them all

A black runner! Woo! Down to my last straggler, still working on absorbing its yolk from the looks of it. Also got these 2 migrated down and into the brooder

This last baby is still not ready to hatch and I’m about to tag out with the wife. Went ahead and moved the others downstairs into the brooder and from that I saw what I thought was a black runner is actually another Swedish runner taking after their father!
