Lavender orpington chick sexing

hi there, trying to sex my 7 week lavender orpington, any help is greatly appreciated

Lavender Orpington pullets sometimes develop pink combs early. I'd give it another 2-3 weeks.

I'm thinking pullet. But Orphingtons are sneaky, so don't be to sure yet, I'm just pretty sure.

His comb is very large for this age, even compared to Orpingtons

Much appreciated, the comb is not turning red or pink but the wattles are. Was still crossing my fingers

I was looking at an older thread and all their orpingtons at my age had combs my size but the few they thought were roos were alot more red. Any thoughts? I know the mother hen had a very big comb.

In my experiences lavender are a bit different than buffs. I have had pullets with combs near as big as their sibling cockerals. I would wait and see. If it's a male the comb should turn more red by 7-8 weeks. A pullet should remain pink.
