In my experiences lavender are a bit different than buffs. I have had pullets with combs near as big as their sibling cockerals. I would wait and see. If it's a male the comb should turn more red by 7-8 weeks. A pullet should remain pink.I was looking at an older thread and all their orpingtons at my age had combs my size but the few they thought were roos were alot more red. Any thoughts? I know the mother hen had a very big comb.
