lavender orpington HEN or ROO northeast GA

interested in whether they were Roo's...... I have the same issue, got a lavender orpington because lady thought he was a roo. he is five months old bit the comb and waddles are the only thing that scream rooster

Thank you! That's why we got "him" I want to replace my dominant Rooster who is Dominique and Silkie.. We are trying to steer more to the dual purpose birds and he is exactly what I would want on my hens.. Question now is how long to wait to cull the older rooster... The LBO shows no signs of being a male except for of course his legs and feet lol, He was the only rooster amongst 48 hens so I know having another rooster didn't hinder his progress to maleness... I've never had this problem, We hatched out chicks back in September and by Christmas we knew the males from the females and they had started crowing by 14 weeks..
