I have 3 Lavender girls, 9 months old now. They look so alike that I just call them all "Lavender". I love how pendulous their earlobes are!

Thats cute! Have a Buff Orpington hen who I adopted form a friend, and I named her, and I basically go back in forth between calling her Lavender, or Lav, or Lilac, Ly!

This is my new “girl” Nova. Long story short... it involves a ‘67 Chevy II Nova used to be white and now it’s Burple! (blue/purple) ha! She’s about 5 weeks in the photo. We will be updating photos this week! 💜 Also, I’ve always wanted a pure LO and I’ve been sold a few mixes but I think I finally got my pure girl 🥰💜 🙏🏼

She’s so pretty! Does she hav a single comb or something else? Lavender orps have single combs. But she is really pretty 😍

Name: Guardo
Breed: He is my rare breed Issabell Orpington!
Age: Unknown, but I believe under a year?

I didn't choose the name, he came to me with he name, and I honestly don't know why he was named that. All I know is he was adopted from a mexican farm and I though maybe Guardo mean something in Spanish, but I looked it up, and apparently it means, to look? I don't know, but maybe they though he was very pretty to look at?:p Who knows! Its fun to think about though! Enjoy, I will post a pic of my beloved sunshine, who is also not a Lavender, but is still an Orpington! Avery
From what I can tell, it translates into keeper, guardian, protector. Perfect name for a rooster.
