Lavender Orpington project ....

I don't know anything and am counting on this thread to help guide me in the right direction. For now I intend on using a variety of Blacks and BUS pullets to take to my Lav and my Cuckoo Lavs. BUS has treated me right and I expect his blood in his daughters will make some killer Lavs and Cuckoos too

These are taken with my cell phone so, it really doesn't get you a good picture etc..

This one looks paler to me too. It doesn't really matter, I was just curious.

Off topic, but here are some of my Bantam Lavender Ameraucanas. They are only about 5 months old here.

I figure this is the easiest place to ask. If any one has any hatching eggs they would like to sell, I am interested in 6 100% lavender orps. I don't care so much about they are not close to orp type as I am using the color for a project.
just pm me with a price, shipping to 04330

thanks

Good luck with your project. I will tell you .... info you may find of interest. I have earlier generation Lavender Orp project birds, and some of the latest ones. The size difference is amazing! If you are interested in size, as well as the lavender gene, I would recommend a later generation of the project Orps.

as long as we are not talking bantam size then I am fine with that, they don't have to be large orpington size.

Got a question for yall... How much is a dozen of Lav. orp going for down south (Maine is more southern then me
roll.png
) People want a bare min. of 100.00 for a dozen of eggs up here... And they are not now wheres near as good of quality as the ones down south...Not ennough breeders up here are going to work on them... Just sell eggs and chicks.

Ohh, and Jody did you ship chicks for any one up here in canada last spring? People are claming they have " Hink-jc Mountain Poultry" lines...

Thanks that's my daliy rant for the day

Hi call ducks. I don't ship to Canada, so any claims of having lines directly from me are false. Perhaps someone else sold them chicks and said they were from my line. I did not sell any shipped chicks this past spring or spring 2009 to anyone.
