Lavender Orpington- Shredder gene- breeding

This is my blue/ lavender hen.

She’s just a blue.

So in your opinion, she is just a blue orpington?
If I mate her to my Lavender Orpington rooster what will I get?
She hatched out of eggs sold to me as lavender- these are her hatch mates.

The one in the middle is your blue lavender. The other two are “normal” lavenders.

This hen is lavender.

This hen is blue.

This hen is both blue and lavender- a blue lavender.

The rooster is lavender.

I think the first two hens are blue and ths last one is lavender.
Either way it shows why most breeders don't mix the colors.

Why does it show that?..you mean because of the shredded tail feathers, or because they can't tell them apart?

Lol. Yes I kinda do. Never had a lavender with the dark on the head but every blue has.

Because it gets too confusing telling them apart.

Seems to be a very common thing in lavender orps. She also has feather shredding.
