Unfortunately it seems anything that is respiratory, its most likely contagious. It wouldn't hurt to try something different. He is very pretty. Did you have him as a chick?

yes since he was less than 2 weeks old, he came from show quality parents i will post a full body pic of him as well

You could use an antibiotic eye drop as well to treat the eye. Your Rooster is very handsome.
