Lawford rescue

This poor boy was found dumped in a stream near my home, luckily I managed to get to him before the foxes did. He has a nasty case of wet & dry pox, wry neck, overgrown beak and is just skin and bone.. after 24 hrs clearing off the gunk and treating him with everything we can throw at it he is on the road to recovery. He has a long way to go but I've never seen a chicken with such a will to live & he's such a sweetie

Good job coming to the rescue. Just a word of caution; dont forget to practice strict biosecurity. You dont want to jeopardize your existing flock with unknown diseases, parasites etc etc etc...

You have an amazing heart! I hope you can bring this poor boy back from the brink of death. Sometimes, their will to live outweighs all the odds stacked against them.
