. I think he probably gets calcium from the layer pellets, yogurt and from the occasional sardine that he eats.
Right now too much calcium is the least of my concerns. I just don't feel like he is fighting as hard. Maybe he is depressed always being in that trailer/ kennel but it didn't stop raining until tonight, after dark. It is supposed to rain again tomorrow.
He doesn't eat well enough to be entertained by hanging something (cabbage, etc) from the top of the kennel - at least, I dont' think so. Maybe I will try it... I have to do something. I don't want to lose him after 2 weeks because of him giving up.
he is indeed a beautiful bird.... just wet, scraggly and skinny. I pray he will one day get to his real beauty again.
