[high end hens]

I have a two year old RIR who has laid eggs almost every day since she was five months old. Suddenly stopped, about three weeks ago. She seems a little young for menopause. Any ideas???

Is it how where you are? Heat stress can have a bad effect on laying.

It could be caused by a number of factors. Heat is one. You don't say where you are, so temperature in your area is unknown. Molt is another. She could be beginning a molt and that's why no eggs. Also stress. Being bothered by predators or adding chickens to the flock causing a new pecking order to be created. Any of these can be the cause.

Thank you all! I suspect heat. I live in northwest Florida. Very hot, very humid. Although heat doesn’t seen to have affect her sister. I know two may not react the same.
