Sweet. It was well worth the wait, wasn't it???

It was so surreal! I sort of couldn't believe it was a real egg, and I think part of my brain thought that the wooden egg I had put in there had magically multiplied itself.

I even put them both in my hands and weighed them to be sure before I realized what I was doing! I scrambled it, had a little, and gave the rest to the girls, who really enjoyed it. As did I -- it was amazing.
