Our EE named Olive is getting a bit too chatty for our neighbor's liking, and we unfortunately have to find her a new home. She consistently lays sky blue eggs (almost every day right through winter!). She does not really like to be held, and is a little skittish (has nothing to do with the way I raised her). However, she will eat out of your hand. She is also hatchery stock and will be 1 year old in June. We are looking for a place where she will be well taken care of.

Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Would love to take her - we are south of Dallas, in Waxahachie. We have a few Easter Eggers along with other breeds that all free range from dusk till daw. We live out in the country so noise is not an issue (we also have cows, goats, pigs, donkeys, and a Livestock Guard Dog. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to get down there till June.

Sorry, but we were hoping to get her off our hands before then...You sounded like the perfect place! If we are not able to find her a home before then, I will definitely contact you.

I live east of Dallas, we are out in the country with a few (8) sheep, a miniature jersey heifer, a guard donkey, a Pyranees who loves all the critters

and here she is pictured earlier today with my very tiny flock of chickens (one of my turken girls was around the corner outside and missed the photo op!) I have 2 turken hens, 2 RIR hens and one RIR rooster. They free range all day plus I keep their feed pan full of 16% lay pellets, scratch and a second pan gets (about once a week) raw milk whey, curds, clotted cream and yogurt (they ADORE this treat!) During the fall and winter I also feed sprouted wheat fodder daily (all they care to eat, which is a lot because they love it!)

I could come your direction later this week or even this weekend, if you could meet me part of the way it would be terrific, if not

let me know, we'll figure it out . . .

@Knowon Special Great! You can have her! Unfortunately, we cannot meet you halfway, sorry. You should DM me about the meet up plan.
PS: Sounds like you guys take great care of your chickens! I know she will be happy.
