laying eggs

So if I dont care if I get eggs, is it bad if they dont lay eggs? like if I just give them normal day light, will they get egg bound?

? Not certain what you are asking. They will respond to photoperiod, and if it is long enough they will lay.

Hens/pullets are going to lay whether you want them to or not, unless there's a medical reason they can't or you're planning to do some sort of medical intervention.
