I have 3 guinea hens and they have finally started laying eggs after they abandoned their nests about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
But........they are not laying in a nest. I find the eggs out in the run or laying on the floor of the chicken house! I have only found 5 eggs so far and I am not sure which one or ones are laying. Why don't they just start another nest?? or use the chicken nests??
any one know? or is this common.
