Laying in a group?

Will button quails lay when in a large group? I have about 10 button quails together all about 5-6 weeks old. I have added a hen that was already laying, but once I've added her to the group she stopped laying. It's been over a week since I've added her and still no eggs. The others are about 6 weeks now and no eggs from them either. Do they lay in big groups like this?

Buttons like to be in pairs. You should separate them at this point. The new female is likely scared and in shock with her new surroundings. It is not good to just put a new bird in like that. Any change NO MATTER HOW SMALL directly impacts laying in quail. Change in feed, change in surroundings or anything causing stress effect the laying of eggs
