I think I know the answer to this question, but recently I have heard different. Do hens require a special "laying" mash to produce eggs
? A family member said that if I wasn't going to have a rooster then I needed to get some feed that was artificially insemenated
. I felt like I scoured BYC and never found anything to support that. Can someone please clarify for me?
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
