Laying pellets causing drakes to be sterile ?? *confused*

During breeding season I feed Mazuri Breeder.

Otherwise I feed Mazuri Maintaince.

I've never heard it causing sterility but there's no reason to feed breeder when they're not laying. At least IMHO.

I am not a pro! I have never showed a bird in my life and I don't expect to. I do think I know more about feed than the average bear.
Flock raiser is a very good all around feed but a feed aimed at only waterfowl is likely to be better. For some reason Nutrina duck raiser is not available in many areas. All the reports I have heard have been wonderfull. By all means visit the call duck breeders club website they have pictures of winers there but no standards. I have been told that the standards for type are pretty much the same in US and UK but the color names vary widely. Heck people in the US club can't even agreen on the names. Join the us club if interested , they put out some very fine newsletters which to me are worth the dues

.

Oh come on you and Evy have enough conversations on showing call ducks to make you a pro...LOL

Well you do seem to know your waterfowl..

Dont get me started on the self-chocolate, chocolate, self-blue, blue thing.....I think we just need to go with the name that is in the standard. I am beginning to think Evy is right about all these new varieties of call ducks...

We have good luck using Nutrina Duck Grower and I guess I am lucky that my local feed store keeps it in stock for us, many of my friends in other states cant seem to get it, even if their feed store carries Nutrina Feeds...The Nutrina Rep tells me they also make a duck feed for commerical needs, but it is not available in my area.

Type is the same over the pond for call ducks, but the colors and their discriptions are different...we Americans always have to put our spin on a variety....right?

Also she wants me to at least go to a show and can't understand why I have no interest
Well you do seem to know your waterfowl..Thanks, I try my best

I am beginning to think Evy is right about all these new varieties of call ducks...See that proves my point about Evy the last go arround (not the one that just ended) I donated $100 for show prizes but specified that it only could be used for non standard colors I don't think she forgives me yet (did you win one of those. I don't remember?

I did not know there was a Nutrena Duck Grower i will have to ask about that at TSC and some other feed stores i know of "Thanks"

Perusing again, I purchased a bag of Purina Country Time 10.99 for 50 pounds for 26 laying hens from 3 to 1 year of age

I have been feeding Nutrena Nature's wise for almost 14 for 50 pounds, so, hopefully the eggs will be as good as my customer's are accustomed to and there will not be a problem with production, chickens also get some old bread occassionally not moldy, green produce daily. oyster shells and scratch grain.

Any feed country acres?/
