What is the best laying pellets to feed hens?....I have tried a couple different brands but want to feed the best for my money.

Ask a hundred people, get a hundred answers. Best? For the money? Is Purina at $15 a 50# better than re-branded Purina at $13??
There are a number of choices if you have access to them. In some areas, choices are limited. I like a local Michigan feed called Armada. I also like Kent, though it is high priced, and Southern States Co-op.

All are backed by poultry science. Sales and coupons influence my decision making, I admit.

Well I live in Ohio and most of the breeders I know use either;
Buckeye
Kent
Or Has there own mix.

I like Buckeye and been using it for some time know and I get the Layer/Breeder for around 9.75 a 50 lb bag and it is a 18% protein w/ Meat Meal.

I know that the TSC in town here is selling very little of the Purina poultry feed maybe 5 bags since they started carrying it.
