Laying Problem?

My 24 week lavender Orpingtons won't start laying! I am very confused as to why they aren't, seeing how I am using layer feed and providing them with all there needs! Please help!

They probably just need more time - wait a couple more weeks, the eggs will come! The first egg always is exciting!

I've decided we need a program to send a bottle of wine to all chicken owners awaiting their first egg to help with relaxation. Another type of wine should be sent to us all when we have much anticipated eggs in lockdown. Ah heck, maybe we just all need a glass!!

I got my first egg today!

Congratulations! That looks like a pretty good sized first egg! My first one was 1 1/2 inches at best.
