laying

now that I'am on here I have several questions,
why arent all my hens laying and consistantly ? why arent they laying in their nesting boxes ? why are they pulling there straw out of threr boxes ? do fake eggs work to get them to lay in their boxes? why arent they using their roosts? help lol...
