So if Othman has given 60 ml of the feed/pedialyte mixture twice, that's 120 ml.  He could do another 60 ml two more times, or perhaps 90 ml, so 120 ml more, or 180 ml if he uses the higher dosage.  That would make the 240 ml total of food/water mix for the day.

@q8peafowl
, how much pedialyte did the bird have this morning before you started tubing the food?  Did you give 30 ml or 60 ml this morning?

He got 30ml of fluid before the first round of feeding, i will be waking up until late time tonight, so if i need to feed him again i can do it after few hours.

@q8peafowl , keep track of all the food and fluids that you give per day, and weigh every morning before feeding.

So the bird could get two more 60 ml food feedings, spaced out in order to permit the crop to empty in between, and 90 ml more pedialyte fluid and then would have had lots of food and fluids today, and might stand a chance of recovering some of the lost weight.

It sounds like the last event before you retire would be good to be 60 ml of fluids. So another 30 ml of fluids in between two 60 ml food tubings might help the food pass through the crop and rehydrate him. And then just space everything out a bit so the crop has time to process each dosing of food and fluids.

Kathy, is this a sensible plan?

Give him as much food as you can before you go to bed, then give him 8 hours of rest, that should be enough time for him crop to empty completely. Is he drinking any on his own?
