Leaky waterer

We use a couple gallon plastic waterer hanging in the coop. For the first few weeks this worked great! Now it seems to be leaking all over! Is there a specific waterer made for hanging? Or should I be supporting it underneath somehow?

There are hanging and standing waterers.
You can get metal, which can’t break and can be put on a heat stand in the winter bud they will rust OR , get a plastic one generally cheaper but more breakable and leaky.

there are also fountain waterers which realease water when the chickens press a leaver-thing, I would get a cheap one and see if your birds like them first though.

I have a hanging (but I don’t have it hanged) plastic waterer now, but I use a heated plug-in water bucket in the winter to keep ice out.
