Okay. The first bird is a Silkie!
This will be the finished product!



Step 1. Draw a bunch of lines in a circular shape. make sure that you leave a space at the bottom. (note: don't attach your lines, do seperate ones)

Step 2. Then add the main body using lines that stick out to the edges of the paper, on the right side use lines that face the bottom of the page.

Step 3. Add the rest of the body and the feet. make sure you have a indent between the body and the feet/legs.

Step 4. Add the tail (try and make it not stick out to much), toe feathers, and beak.

Step 5. fill in the body with small lines pointing in different directions

Step 6. If you want a bearded silkie then add a beard with small close together lines and fill it with small lines.

Step 7. Now add the wing with small close together lines.


And now it is finished! If you want a white silkie then do it on black or blue paper with a white pencil.

Here is a Sebright (note: i have only figured out the head)
This is the finished product! (with colouring)


Step 1. Add the comb

Step 2. Add the head.

Step 3. Add the rest of the head and the body.

Step 4. Finish the head.

Step 5. Colour the head and do the lacing. (optional)




Now your finished!

I LOVE them! So awsome!! I tried to draw the silkie, but mine just looks like a blow dried rat!

but thats ok!! I can't wait to see more!!! The Sebright is also great! Luv the feather detail!

thanks. yeah the silkies came out like that for me for awhile. Practice it and hopefully it will work!
