Today I learned that no matter how slowly French people in South Africa speak, I can't understand a word they say. Something about Polish helicopters??? I am having our Texas office call him. I hope they can understand him!

Last night after making a fire in my new wood buring heater I was afraid the house was going to burn down.

When the old man got home from work this morning he said "you were afraid of what?"

He then told me you would have to be a complete moron to burn the hose down with that heater.

The house didn't burn down.

I learned I wasn't a complete moron. lol

Hey it's always a great day when you learn you're not a moron! I still get confused with the thermostat to the a.c/heater, and I'm almost 31. Gimme digital I tell ya!

power tools? what you speak of? I use a hand powered screwdriver! Tried using an axe once, just to prove I can chop firewood, almost tore that poor axe up. Needless to say, the rest of that winter, I didn't have wood chores! Point for me!

I learned that some of the speech pathology I learned 20 years ago is still somewhere in my brain even though I haven't used it in 18 years.
I learned that quails can lay double yolked eggs too.
I learned that my 6 year old's reading skills are really a lot better than I thought.
