Iv had my eggs in the bator for 3 days now. Plugged the turner in and went and got a sandwich. Checked on them 20 mins later and the temp had gone from 99 to 109!

Im going to wait about 5 or 6 days and candle but im bettin there cooked. Thats just my luck:hit For those of you that have never used a turner make sure it is in the bator and running when you go to stabilize. Iv never had this happen before. Has anyone else?

If it happened in such a short amount of time, I wouldn't worry about it. It takes some time before the internal temp of the egg matches the external temp. I'm betting they'll be just fine.
FWIW-always have everything running a day or two before you set your eggs.

Ohhhh! Your turner added heat to the incubator. Gotcha!
Well, you got me beat. Never run an incubator without an untested thermometer! I made that fatal mistake already in my hatcher and more than half of my eggs didn't make it.

Mine did that then i looked and my incubator top was jarred a little and when i put it back on correctly it went back down to 99.5 degrees and if it was just 20 mins its not gonna hurt at all mine was at 110 for 2 days and when i candled them i had them all alive
